Raising a Concern

How to Raise a Complaint or Appeal

Most issues are resolved quickly by speaking directly with a trainer or our Student Services office. For a formal complaint or appeal — including about an assessment result — you can lodge it directly with our Student Services office.

Your enrolment is protected. Raising a complaint will not affect your assessment outcomes or your enrolment. Students will not suffer any disadvantage, penalty, or change to enrolment because they have made a complaint or appeal.

If You're Not Satisfied

Independent Review

You can request an independent review by a suitably qualified person outside FST, at no cost. You can also contact the National Training Complaints Hotline at any time — a free, national service for reporting concerns about vocational education and training providers (13 38 73).
