About FST

FST is a nationally recognised, domestic-only training provider specialising in telecommunications and ICT. We’re a new provider, small enough that you deal directly with the people running the place — trainers with real, current industry experience, not a call centre.

Courses and Enrolment

Yes, all FST courses are nationally recognised.

Contact us to start your enquiry. We’ll talk through entry requirements and fit, then complete your enrolment together.

Courses are available face-to-face, depending on the course.

We’ll confirm this with you directly — get in touch.

We are required to issue your certificate within 30 calendar days of you meeting all requirements. We aim to issue within two weeks.

Some short courses have entry conditions or licensing prerequisites, noted on each course page. We’ll confirm what applies to you before you enrol.

Yes. Every learner in nationally recognised training needs a Unique Student Identifier (USI). It’s free to create at usi.gov.au.

A White Card is the mandatory entry credential for construction site work in Australia. FST’s White Card course is coming soon — pending WorkSafe Victoria registration.

RPL and Credit Transfer

Yes, RPL is genuinely assessed on a case-by-case basis. Given the practical, safety-critical nature of our units, most students will still need to demonstrate the skill in person — we always have the conversation.

If you’ve completed an equivalent unit — at FST or elsewhere — a credit transfer may apply, on confirmation from your Statement of Attainment or USI transcript.

Fees and Payment
